Thomas began his journey in movement with classical ballet training, refining his craft at two esteemed institutions: the San Francisco Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School. Following his dance education, he performed with Ballett Zürich and the Scottish Ballet, accumulating over two decades of professional dance experience.Driven by a desire to understand the human body more deeply and share his passion for movement, Thomas transitioned from professional dance into the field of Pilates. He first completed a 500-hour Pilates teacher certification in 2018 before continuing his education with BASI® Pilates in 2021, undertaking their comprehensive instructor training program. To further enrich his expertise, he completed the BASI® Legacy Program—comprising the Mentor, Master I & II, and Honors courses—which expanded upon and deepened his foundational studies.
In addition to his Pilates education, Thomas holds a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification and has pursued complementary studies in anatomy and barre fitness. His extensive background allows him to integrate a deep understanding of the human body with the grace, control, and discipline of his classical ballet training.
Now a dedicated instructor and studio owner, Thomas brings over twenty years of movement experience into every session. His teaching philosophy is rooted in safety, functionality, and mindful, controlled movement, with a focus on helping clients build strength, confidence, and discover the joy of movement.
