Thomas began his journey in movement with classical ballet training, refining his craft at two esteemed institutions: the San Francisco Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School. Following his dance education, he performed with Ballett Zürich and the Scottish Ballet, accumulating over two decades of professional dance experience.Driven by a desire to understand the human body more deeply and share his passion for movement, Thomas transitioned from professional dance into the field of Pilates. He first completed a 500-hour Pilates teacher certification in 2018 before continuing his education with BASI® Pilates in 2021, undertaking their comprehensive instructor training program. To further enrich his expertise, he completed the BASI® Legacy Program—comprising the Mentor, Master I & II, and Honors courses—which expanded upon and deepened his foundational studies.
In addition to his Pilates education, Thomas holds a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification and has pursued complementary studies in anatomy and barre fitness. His extensive background allows him to integrate a deep understanding of the human body with the grace, control, and discipline of his classical ballet training.
Now a dedicated instructor and studio owner, Thomas brings over twenty years of movement experience into every session. His teaching philosophy is rooted in safety, functionality, and mindful, controlled movement, with a focus on helping clients build strength, confidence, and discover the joy of movement.

Patricia Bently

With a formative education in performing arts focusing primarily on classical ballet and modern dance, Patricia first discovered Pilates through a favorite teacher who incorporated the principles and repertoire of Joseph Pilates in her teaching. This pivotal experience sparked an interest that has continued to grow and inspired her to dive deeper into the study of Pilates and therapeutic movement.
Patricia holds a master’s degree in Education in Cross-Cultural Teaching and Language Acquisition, with more than twenty years experience helping students of many ages develop communication skills. She is passionate about coaching her students in recognizing their individual potential, achieving goals, and empowering themselves.
Patricia has completed the BASI® Pilates Comprehensive Mat and Apparatus Teaching Certification to deepen her knowledge, strengthen her practice, and help others along their own journeys towards optimal health. In addition, she is particularly fascinated by the fascial system and how its condition directly impacts our overall function.
Patricia knows firsthand the restorative power that mindful movement, like Pilates and other bodywork modalities, have on our entire wellbeing. She is devoted to helping her students improve their alignment, balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength in order to fully thrive.

Purva Steiner

StretchingPurva began her movement journey in Delhi, India, where she trained in ballet, contemporary dance, yoga, and meditation. At sixteen, she discovered a deep passion for the artistry of ballet and the stillness of yoga, which inspired her to pursue professional dance education in both India and Switzerland. Alongside her training, she also taught ballet to students of all ages, sharing her love of movement and expression from an early stage in her career.
Her curiosity for uniting mindful movement with holistic health led her to expand her studies beyond dance. She completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training (RYT 500), earned a diploma in Ayurveda and Panchakarma, and has completed the BASI® Pilates comprehensive teacher training program. Drawing on this diverse background, Purva brings a unique teaching style that blends the grace and precision of ballet, the presence and breath awareness of yoga, and the functional strength of Pilates.
In her classes, Purva emphasizes mindful alignment, mobility, and strength. She offers mat-based Pilates sessions designed to strengthen, tone, and improve posture through precise, functional movement, while her barre classes combine ballet-inspired, low-impact training to build strength, alignment, and stability. Across all formats, Purva encourages her students to cultivate awareness, resilience, and joy in their movement practice.

Céline Barreau

Pilates Mat & ApparatusCéline is a movement educator with a rich background in classical ballet, contemporary dance, and the Gaga movement language. She began her ballet training in Vevey, Switzerland, and went on to deepen her movement practice through contemporary dance, improvisation, and choreography alongside her academic studies in Neuroscience & Behavior.
With over two decades of experience in dance and teaching, Céline brings a highly attuned, body-aware approach to Pilates. Her work is rooted in sensation, alignment, and flow, guiding clients to move with both precision and ease. Drawing from Gaga and somatic practices, she creates a supportive and accepting environment where curiosity is encouraged, strength and agility are developed, and clients are invited to explore their full physical potential.
Céline discovered Pilates through her professional dance career and later formalized her education through the BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training. Her sessions are thoughtful, responsive, and adaptable for complete beginners, experienced movers, and dancers alike. Céline is passionate about helping each client build a deeper, more intelligent relationship with their body through mindful movement.
